Although the electric vehicle was under quite a bit of flack two or three years ago (recall the article written by Mr. Bean), there are many benefits to it that go unsaid or are even portrayed as downsides.

For example, the silent motor means that the car or truck can sneak up on you, yet beyond that the silence is golden; It is such a pleasure to not hear as much road noise.

Driving along the highway, you will see that we have put up barriers to block the sound of the engine and other road noise.

And even though the electric vehicle uses fossil fuels through the generation of electricity, the upside is that the electricity can be generated here and we can capture the smoke that is produced by the burning of coal so that we can have clean coal energy or nuclear.

The electric vehicle has no exhaust, which means the exhaust which would supposedly pollute the air is no longer coming from each vehicle on the road, but rather from wherever the electricity is coming from, which can be different sources, such as hydro, nuclear or wind (which sometimes gets lambasted by President Trump).

Lastly, I see one benefit of space that rarely gets mentioned. We could send our trash into space and that includes the Lithium batteries.
