Since I cannot respond to him on X-Rated Twitter, I will write a response here on my blog.
I think educational technology is the future. I think a smartphone is a good thing. And I am more than happy to relay why.
In my educational journey, I found technology to be the key to unlocking access to the learning material I yearned for.
I learned two foreign languages through the Internet (YouTube, Google). I learned fullstack web development. I even fixed my diet and improved my health.
I made a conscious effort, though, to avoid gamification. Or anything related to the outrage machine. I exercised my own judgement of what is right and wrong.
On another note, I love your latest book.
Very small aside, there was a point when I read several damning books, “The End of Reality,” “The Anxious Generation,” “The Death of The West,” etc — there is a self-made pit of doom that becomes ever more apparent as you go down this path.
