Can I Show You My Github Acct?

My activity on Github — the most popular platform for Distributed Version Control, which makes use of Linus Torvalds’ Git — is proof-positive that over the last decade I had fallen head over heels for programming.

To be sure, this is a different kind of love that in no way rivals that which I would have for a woman, family member or friend.

But there is no denying how much time I have spent programming. And I dare say, I still love to do it!

The recent advent of artificial intelligence has been nothing short of remarkable.

I love AI, but it is a paradigm shift to say the least.

Something that would normally take me weeks to months, now takes 20 seconds to 10 minutes.

My abilities were supercharged — although there is certainly a learning curve for AI and our own codebases.

I now find myself standing up from my desk and walking off, which is something to celebrate.

Twenty-twenty-six here we come!
